Recognized today as the oldest and most historic golf club in Scottsdale, Arizona, Starfire at Scottsdale Country Club offers a traditional style layout with spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains, while meandering through some of the oldest Eucalyptus and Pines in Scottsdale.
This 27-hole Arnold Palmer designed layout is far from the typical "Arizona Golf Experience". The "King" Nine was designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 1988. Palmer also redesigned the Squire and Hawk nines making them more challenging with bunkers and water hazards coming into play on 13 holes. Superb year-round course conditions, coupled with impeccable customer service create a memorable and historic golf experience.

Thanks to the contributions of many good hearted individuals, community minded companies and generous Martial Artists, it has gained rapid grass-roots, local support and continues to evolve and grow. See the 2006 and the 2007 Arizona break-a-thon event pics here.

Breaking the Chain of Child Abuse
Master John Nottingham, USA Martial Arts and his various enterprises are committed supporters of the Break The Chain Foundation and other charities to help "Break the Chain of Child Abuse". He has set a goal of raising one million dollars for this worthy cause, and he needs your help and support. All proceeds from donations go directly to our local chapter of the well respected Break The Chain Foundation. All donations are tax deductible, and you can check out their website at http://www.breakathon.com for more information.

One of the biggest events Master Nottingham has helped to organize for this cause is the Break-A-Thon, involving all the schools in the USA Martial Arts Chain. This event was last held on September 9th, 2006, with great success. This years Breakathon event will be held May 19th at the USA Martial Arts Scottsdale location at 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright.
I am asking you personally to help me on my mission to make the world a better place. Please don't put this aside and think that somebody else will do it. I am counting on you. Here is how you can really help me make a difference. Pass the word on this to your friends, family and at work. Ask for their help. Please be courteous and respectful as you ask and I know we will see miraculous things take place.
Thank you for helping me break the chain of child abuse.
With gratitude and optimism,
John D. Nottingham
Please see the contact page for more information on helping Master Nottingham achieve his goal.
Thank you for your love and generosity.
